OK, so, it turns out that the songs In Darkness and Part of Love are actually tracks 3 and 4 of an album I wrote called The Light. It’s a concept album, sort of like Undying Love or Albert II: The Voyage Home.

Anyways, I decided this week to record this song, which is track 5. I hope you like it. Please feel free to leave feedback/comments. Seriously.

Look for a Thanksgiving-related song next week, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Not really sure what to say about this song, other than to point out that it is, in fact, the second “My Song” in a row that involves me feeling sorry for myself, and the third overall (the remaining one being “Your Heart”). Boo yeah.

By way of announcement, I will be playing with the Ring of Scribes in the Muse Music Battle of the Bands on Thursday, November 11. All are invited (and strongly encouraged) to attend. We will be playing three songs found on this website: The Army of Shiz, Part of Love, and In Darkness.
