OK, this song comes with a story. See, some years ago, my family members were having a conversation about church hymns that are intended for holiday times. There are a bunch for Christmas, some for New Years, and even a couple for Thanksgiving. Someone was upset that there aren’t any hymns for Halloween. My brother Ben responded thus: “Oh yes, there is! It goes like this:

‘Oh, the bones of Parley P. Pratt
Oh, the bones of Parley P. Pratt
They’re really hairy
And they’re really scary
Oh, the bones of Parley P. Pratt.’”

And thus, this song was born. I later thought up some other verses and a snappy bridge. I decided that, since it’s Halloween time, I should record an up-beat, acoustic guitar version of this song. And because it’s so simple, I decided to film myself recording the song, just for fun. So here’s the video. I hope you have a Happy Halloween.

News: It’s Been a While Man, Life’s So Rad

Okay, so, it’s been almost two weeks since my last song. I was doing real well at the whole weekly thing until this semester, and now it’s getting much harder. But I’m still trying.

Anyways, I’m hoping to upload a Halloween song in the next few days. It should be pretty good. I hope.

And hey, since it’s Halloween time, would you mind doing me a favor and letting people know about Undying Love? It’s zombie themed, and zombies have something to do with Halloween, right?

Lastly, if I were to play another acoustic show, when would be a good time for you?
